Prerequisite

Course of nursing care of PGSS.and other courses of 1st BSI  and other subjects  begun in the course of the year.

Aims and Objectives

Develop with guidance the following skills

  • C1 S' to imply(involve) in his(her,its) training(formation) and in the construction of its professional identity: the discovery of the occupational environment (the philosophy of institutions, the teamwork, the professional project
  • C2 Take into account the ethical, ethical, legal and statutory dimensions(size): the ethical implication of the responsibilities, …
  • C3 Manage (or participate in the management) human, material and administrative resources: the organization of the work, the management of the material(equipment), …
  • C4 Conceveive projects nursing: the data collection with the nursing file(case), the observation of the patient, the search(research) for further information,
  • C5 provide professional communication: the communication with the team and with the beneficiary,
  •  C6 Achieve autonomous nursing interventions, prescribed and/or confided character: the application of the contextualités basic care with guidance on the opposite page with the progress(promotion) of the material(subject).

During the second internship(training course) the following skills are added:

  • C2 take into account the ethical, ethical, legal and statutory dimensions(size): the ethical implication of the responsibilities, …
  • C4 Conceive projects nursing: the approach(initiative) with tools (protocol, procedure) in an optics of good practice and realization of the analysis and the interpretation(performance).
  • C6 Realize autonomous nursing interventions , prescribed and/or confided character: the application of care contextualised.
Description

The training courses are carried out:

  • in the University Hospital Complex of Sart Tilman (Liege)
  • in the Regional Hospital Complex of the Citadel (Liege)
  • in the Hospital Complex of the Bois de l’Abbaye and Hesbaye ( Seraing)
  • in the Clinic André Renard ( Herstal),
  • in the Clinic of the ISoSL.
  • In the CHC

Distribution of the training courses ( M.B. 10-09-2008)

  • 140 hours in general medicine or in general surgery or in geriatrics
  • 30 hours (choice of the establishment).
