Principles and didactic exercises of nursing care clinical training courses of 1st, 2nd and 3rd year.

Aims and Objectives

To face emergency and reanimation situations for the patients suffering from respiratory syndromes


Part1 : Surgery (Pneumology) (25h)

Nursing cares and monitoring with patients having an invasive and non invasive mechanical ventilation

Use and monitoring of controlled breathing devices.

Nursing cares by thoracic drainage, intubation, tracheotomy

Part 2 : Medicine (15h)

Nursing cares related to respiratory pathologies such as pulmonary embolism, acute pulmonary oedeme, constrictive and obstructive bronchopneumonia, respiratory depression syndrom

Carrying out and analysis of arterial samples

Assistance to the patient and the doctor during a pleural ponction, a bronchic fybroscopy

Part 3: Environment emergency ( 5h )

Maintenance security on the place

First aid and starting of the treatment of : burn, heat stroke, hypothermia, drowning, electrocution, irradiation/nuclear contamination
