Aims and Objectives

The objectives are :

  • to create an interest in science and technologies, partly through visits in institutions
  • to learn a few major popular sources of scientific information for use in public libraries
  • Definition of "science"
  • Elements of a brief history of science
  • Definition of "technology"
  • Elements of a brief history of technologies
  • Overview of classification systems in the field of sciences
  • Approach of several french-speaking popular science magazines
  • Awareness of various scientific and / or technical topics , including visits to scientific institutions
