Aims and Objectives | General structure of PLC: input interface, memories, processor, and output interface. To control the instructions of the Ladder diagram language. Analysing from specification the solution, programming it and developing. |
Description | The programmed command: advantages with respect to the traditional cabled. Input interface: acquisition of the data, wiring. Output interface: update of the output, wiring. The cycle of the PLC: the master task, examination, watchdog, subroutines. Addressing : binary input/output, internal bits, system bits, 16 and 32 bits intern words, constant and real words, system words. Instructions of ladder diagram language : tests and actions on bits, standard functions blocks, compare blocks, operate blocks. Configuring, programming, developing, saving and documenting under PL7 Pro software (Schneider Electric -Telemecanique). |

Assessment Methods | Oral examinations Continuous assessment Continuous assessment: practical work to realize in a given time, a file have returned by the student at the time of the meeting according to work.
