Aims and Objectives

The course describes the issues linked to the storage and retrieval of information in databases. The student will be able to manage a small set of bibliographic records and to produce bibliographic tools such as catalogs and indexes.

Study of a relational DBMS : tables and queries, relational schemas and normal forms, forms and reports. Introduction to Visual Basic programming
