Course UnitCompulsory
TermQuad. 1 and 2
CodeTECH-IELM0004/1
Prerequisite

All basic notions of automation studied in the course of previous year.

Aims and Objectives

Theory: Following the course given in previous year, this part essentially becomes attached to the survey of sampled systems and to the computerised control. Besides, the use of programmable logical controllers is also given.

Applications: To apply techniques seen in the theoretical course, in particular, programming programmable logical controllers.

Description

Theory: "On/Off" control ; Notions on signals in discreet time applied to the systems dynamic; The sampled dynamic systems: definitions, classification,; Tools of analysis and calculation based on z transform; Transfer functions of sampled systems; Particular techniques for the industrial process control; Programming of programmable logical controllers with the five standardized languages.

Applications: applications on PLC, utilization of languages: LADDER, SFC, FBD, ST et IL.
