Aims and Objectives

-Identify the main idea of a text without using reference books (reading skill);

-Write various types of texts (job ad, job description, CV) in a syntactically correct language (writing skill);

- telephoning: leaving/taking messages, dealing with complaints, asking for information

- understand a text related to human resources, give the main ideas and lead a debate on that subject

- use specific vocabulary related to HR

Grammar

Tenses review; passive voice; I wish; prepositions; indirect speech; phrasal verbs; use of the gerund and the infinitive forms.

Lexicon and language functions related to Human Resources and Personnel Management 

Human resources topics presented by the students: stress and conflicts at work, discrimination, bullying, industrial relations, recruitment, social networks,...
