Pathology course year 1st, 2nd and 3rd year.

Aims and Objectives

To have a fine approach of the various concepts of pathology in order to exploit of them various dimensions in an efficient study practice.

To include/understand the entrusted and the problems to be treated in collaboration.

Description

Respiratory pathology:

- The monitoring of the respiratory function to the unit of intensive care

- Physiopathological impact of the hypoxies and severe hypercapnia

- Physiopathological impact of the modem treatment of support ( baro-volo-traumatisms related to artificial ventilation)

- Method of application and monitoring of these treatments by the nurse of intensive care

- Does mechanical ventilation “ complex”, permissive hypercapnia, ventilation at high frequencies, ventilation in decubitus ventral, nitric oxyde, extracorporal techniques

- Intoxications

Environmental pathology and intoxications:

- Hypothermia

- Electrocution

- Acute intoxications: general principles of assumption of responsability, some frequent intoxications

Ventilatory modes

Humidification of the gases

Medicamentous instillations
