Aims and Objectives

To know the main methods of qualitative, quantitative and separative analysis. 

Description

Gravimetric techniques: determination of iron in the ferrous sulfate, dosages of calcium, magnesium and sulphate ions.

Titrimetric Techniques: Measurement of calcium ions, dosage of the disodium salt of EDTA by nickel ions.

Electrochemical techniques: by electrogravimetry (determination of nickel ions), by potentiometry (dosage a solution of disodium EDTA pH monitoring).

Spectral techniques: determination of a solution of sodium sulphate by turbidimetry, simultaneous determination of chromium and manganese in a solution of permanganate and dichromate by UV-visible spectrophotometry
