Aims and Objectives

After this course, the students will have a good command of the mathematical tools used in signal analysis and transmission.

Description

Discrete signals, including images.

Fourier series: point wise and energy-wise convergence, orthonormal families.

Fourier transforms: summary of known facts, discrete and fast transforms.

Generalized functions: presentation and signal theory applications.
