Aims and Objectives

To master techniques and basic tools of bitmap editing in Photoshop (including an initiation to image touchup) and object-oriented image editing in Illustrator.

Description

Phostoshop:

 

  • First contact (basic tools and concepts);
  • Selection;
  • Masks and channels;
  • Layers (normal, text, adjustment, group);
  • Color (modes, patterns, gradients);
  • Image adjustments;
  • Digitizing and touchup;

 

Illustrator:

 

  • First contact (basic tools and concepts);
  • Simple and complex drawing (with the pen tool);
  • Combination of forms with and without Pathfinder;
  • Drawing by transformation;
  • Text in Illustrator;
  • Forms and color;
  • Gradient Mesh tool;
  • Advanced drawing (using styles);
  • Colors, masks, transparency, swatches.
