Aims and Objectives

This course is able to sensitize students to the generally various subjective aspects of beauty and the feelings it causes. The aim is to train students’ eyes, spirit and critical sense and to make them feel through a systematic analysis of various elements what influences aesthetics.

A significant chapter will develop students ‘sensitivity compared to the arising of virtual art.

Teaching and Learning MethodsLectures

The various matters of the program will be approached as a practitioner, the comparative and critical analysis of art works being especially selected to highlight the fundamental rules and criteria which govern the laws of aesthetic. Some practical composition exercises will be proposed to the students so as to enable them to check some constant laws of application.

It is obvious that these exercises apply only to the development of aesthetic criteria without another claim and does not approach the technical aspect of these problems.
