Calculus related to the non-numerical aspects of the different topics described in this course

Aims and Objectives

The most important numerical methods will be developed, taking the available recent means of computation into account. The emphasis will be put on the accuracy of the results and the different sources of errors will be shown.

Description

Basics of algorithmics. Quadratures. Equations solving. Numerical approximations to differential operators. Linear numerical analysis (equations systems, eigenvalues and eigenvectors, inverses). Numerical resolution of ordinary and partial differential equations. Linear recurrent equations.
