Aims and Objectives

Introduction to observation and care of the patient.

To give the basics, the guidelines for the successful completion of acts of care applied in medical imaging.

The student will be able to participate in the implementation of acts of care, support, comfort and safety of the patient in the medical imaging department.

  • The observation of the patient (Virginia Henderson and Maslow)
  • Physiological constants and their measurement
  • Drug deliveryAseptic manipulation
  • The dry dressing and local disinfection
  • Prevention of bedsores
  • The need to breathe oxygen
  • The need to feed and placement of the nasogastric tube
  • The need for hydration and fluid balance
