Aims and Objectives

To learn the specificity of crisis and emergency situations and analyse them in care situations.

Description

Psychiatry in emergency:

· Unit of crisis and emergency

· Characteristics of psychiatric emergencies

· Therapeutical approaches in collaboration with the different participants

Bio-psycho-social approach of the emergencies and crisis situations:

· Agitation

· Anguish crisis

· Suicide attempt

· Alcohol abuse

· Overdose

Therapeutic orientations:

· Somatic and crisis management

Nurse interventions: Somatic and crisis management Interventions nurses: characteristics to be observed, monitoring, actual interventions
