Aims and Objectives

To know current and no complicated pathologies for the total taking in charge of a child requiring neither emergency care not care of reanimation.

Description

For all the affections quoted below , the following will be approached: etiology, (simplified) pathogenesis, the private clinic ( the stress is put on the criteria of monitoring of a sick child). The diagnosis is sometimes approached when the private clinic allows it, but the complementary examinations are reported only if the nurse takes part in it (example: urien analyse, test with insulin).

The treatment is described in its outline, while insisting especially on what requires the intervention of the nursing personnel (food, nursing, humidification,...). The stress is laid on what one should  not do without medical opinion.

Each chapter start with recalls of anatomy and physiology:

  • affections of the digestive system
  • affections of the respiratory system

Aims and Objectives

To ensure care to an adult person undergoing an general surgery and to integrate anaesthesiology and surgical pathology knowledge.

Description

Preoperative care before programmed surgery under general and loco regional anaesthesia.

Postoperative care after programmed surgery under general and loco regional anaesthesia.

Specific care in digestive ( gastric, intestinal, biliary ) vascular, osseous, ophthalmic surgery and in “one day” surgery.

Care of wounds with suture and drainage, care of intestinal stomies and stub of amputation.
