Aims and Objectives

Sensibiliser different imaging techniques.

Apply the theoretical knowledge of physics, radiobiology and radiation in practice of clients encountered in order to ensure the achievement of individualized testing and quality.

Description

1st part: Physics and quality controls

* The basics for x-ray imaging

* Radiology and fluoroscopy

* The CT scanner

* Quality control (mammography)

* The dosimetry of ionizing radiation units

2nd part: radiobiology and radiopathologie human

* Sources and levels of human irradiation

* Ionizing interactions with matter Consequences of ionizing radiation at the molecular, cellular and tissue

3rd part: legislation and radiation protection

* Definition and legal framework for radiation protection

* Basic principles of radiation protection Measurement of radiation of the patient and caregiver
