Aims and Objectives

First approach of « reflex therapies ».

Self-assessment of other massage techniques to improve the students dexterity.

Understand the working of lymphatic system.

Be able to perform a session of manual lymphatic drainage.

Be able to identify the different types of oedema and treat them.

Description

Neural massage :

  • History, introduction to reflex therapies
  • Balance-sheet in segmentherapie
  • Conjunctive tissue massage

Manual lymphatic drainage :

  • Lymphatic system theory ( structure, physiology and physiopathology).
  • Manual lymphatic drainage techniques
  • Additional therapies ( pressotherapy, bandages, taping).
