To understand the internal regulations and connections

( endocrine and nervous systems).

General organization of the human body.

Body support, protection and motility :

  • The tegument ( principal functions)
  • The skeleton
  • The muscular system

Regulation and integration of the physiological processes :

  • The nervous system
  • The endocrine system : study of the main hormones( mechanism of action, physiological roles, regulation)

Keeping one’s balance:

  • The cardio-vascular system : cardiac anatomy and physiology; vascular physiology.
  • The respiratory system : functional anatomy; ventilatory mechanism; gas exchange.
  • The digestive system : functional anatomy; physiology of the digestion and absorption.
