Aims and Objectives

To know precisely the locomotor system (osteology, arthrology and myology) : morphology and working.

To describe the nervous system (central and peripheral) and its main sensitive and motor pathways.

The general objective is to get anatomy knowledge to understand the body working and finally to act knowingly on the patient.

Description

 

Elements of general anatomy

Introduction to osteology and arthrology : structure, classification and bone physiology

LIMBS

  • Upper limb : osteo-arthro-myology, lumbar plexus and nerves, sacral plexus and nerves
  • Lower limb : osteo-arthro-myology, brachial plexus and nerves

TRUNK

  • Osteo-arthrology of rachis, pelvis and thorax
  • Myology of back, nape, thorax and abdomen

 HEAD AND NECK

  • Skull osteology + craniofacial and masticatory muscles
  • Neck : muscles and topographic study (+ thyroid)

CENTRAL NERVOUS SYSTEM

  • Introduction (embryology, histology)
  • Spinal cord
  • Brain : brainstem, cerebellum and cerebrum

PERIPHERAL NERVOUS SYSTEM

  • Spinal nerves
  • Cranial nerves
  • Autonomic nervous system

IMMUNE SYSTEM
