Aims and Objectives

Use of the target language in the field of library science (content of various documents or literary works ; personal desk research or information retrieval) and as a communication tool (both in writing and orally)

Description

1. Practice of the written language : study of various documents dealing either with library science, information and communication sciences, or with more general cultural topics. Reading, analysis, and exploitation of short stories or literary excerpts.

2. Practice of the spoken language : a) reading and conversation exercises based on documents from the syllabus ; b) use of audiovisual media (listening, understanding, repeating, and exploiting audiovisual documents) ; c) individual oral presentation of documents (free choice) ; d) exploitation of current topics.
