Aims and Objectives | At the end of the course, student will be able - to explain of what "deontology" consists, and its reason to be for the librarians
- to present the missions of the library
- to present the librarian's missions, his competences and his duties
- to distinguish various professional associations, and their publications
- to summarize the recurring fundamental points in the principal codes of conduct of the information professionals
- to give an analysis and a personal opinion relating to ethical problems to which he's likely to be confronted in the exercise of its future profession, such as for example: professional relationships, censure, Internet in library, the rights...
