Prerequisite | A basic knowledge of cataloguing and indexing is required as well as the use of a computer. That's why Introduction to Reference Material is given in the second part of the year. |

Aims and Objectives | After this course, the student must be able to : 1. gather documentation about any subject. 2. draw up a list of books for a work 3. buy, identify and localize books for a public library 4. make up a “reading itinerary” for any reader. |
